I’m not a huge sneaker head, but shoes are a fun design challenge. The shoes were crafted in Blender with dynamics in Houdini. I didn’t know how thirsty TikTok would be for my designs—with over 3.3 million views across this series of three videos and thousands of comments, my experiments delighted the hypebeast community and even caused some controversy with my Nike + Crocs mashup. In just a few days it spiked my TikTok followers from a couple hundred to 12 thousand.
